Sahara Deluxe Units are ideally located in a quiet central location of Dunedin city, and only a short distance from Olveston House, Otago Museum, main shopping area, central business district, Botanic gardens, University of Otago and Hospital plus restaurants and other visitor attractions.

All units are serviced and a continental breakfast service is available by prior arrangement. Compact and tastefully decorated, each deluxe unit has a Queen size bed small kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and off-street car parking.
As a member of the Motel Association of New Zealand (MANZ), Sahara Deluxe Units is dedicated to customer comfort and service, which is why our friendly staff is always happy to assist you where possible. Our Reception area is open 7.30am – 9pm where we have information on local activities and attractions, get a city map or visitor guide, or just pick our brains for some great Otago locations to visit.
Complimentary guest provisions include ‘wake up call’ services and a delicious continental breakfast service is available at an additional cost.
Children and toddlers are welcome! We have an infant highchair and cot available for guest use at no additional cost.
The shared laundry area is available for all guests.
We have 8 well-appointed studio units that can sleep up to 3 people. Each unit is quiet, clean, warm and very comfortable with quality furnishings and linens. All units have opening windows and smoking is permitted outside only.
